Jan Pech has been awarded the IAPRI "Most Promising Research Award".
Jan Pech Awarded with Most Promising Research Award at the 41st International Conference of the Polymer Processing Society (PPS-41).

The FSV was represented by Jan Pech at two major international conferences in the fields of polymer processing and packaging science in June 2026. At the 41st International Conference of the Polymer Processing Society (PPS-41), held in Paestum, Italy, an oral presentation was delivered on the influence of thermoforming conditions on the moisture barrier performance of sustainable blister packaging materials. The conference provided an excellent platform for discussing current developments in polymer processing and sustainable packaging technologies.

Following PPS-41, participation continued at the 25th IAPRI World Packaging Conference at Hunan University of Technology in Zhuzhou, China. An oral presentation was given on balancing sustainability requirements and product stability in pharmaceutical blister packaging. The presented research was recognized with the Most Promising Research Award, sponsored by Lansmont. Both conferences provided valuable opportunities for scientific exchange and strengthened international connections within the polymer processing and packaging research communities.
