Talk: Recent Challenges of Spray Drying in Food Industry
This week Prof. Dr.-Ing. Reinhard Kohlus (Director of the Department of Process Engineering and Food Powders; University of Hohenheim) gave an insight in his research. He focused on recent challenges and new developments of spray drying in food sciences ranging from innovative concepts of product design to new innovative manufacturing techniques. The inspiring talk was followed by an enthusiastic discussion, merging the expertise from different research fields. The Laboratory of Solids Process Engineering is grateful for the visit of Prof. Kohlus in Dortmund and for the fruitful academic exchange.
